I want to share something. Actually, two things. These two things have been on my mind for some time now and as I'm quite literally feeling sick to my stomach, I thought that I would share. The first is that a government which harasses its law-abiding citizens is a country in the wrong. Second is that not only does our government do this, they finance (535 Million Dollars, 350 Million Dollars, 2 Million 400 Thousand Dollars, etc) other countries whose governments practice religious and racial persecution.
My own tax dollars are going to governments who practice persecution of innocent civilians simply for their racial heritage and/or the fact that they believe in the one, true God - jailing, sometimes torturing and even killing them. That disgusts me. It disgusts me that my government does it and it disgusts me that my government finances others that do it. Ugh. |
