Time To Move : : September 5, 2010 |
| We just got back from the mortgage agency where we signed documents for the purchase of a house. It has been a long process (too long) but it will be great to move into our new home. Kelly wanted a place where she could take the girls for walks and have plenty of yard for them to run and play. We also wanted to move into a decent school district in case we decide to send the girls to public school. The house is located in a nice neighborhood just a mile or two from the schools in a district that has consistently been rated as the best school district in our county. It is definitely not the kind of place that I (Peter) pictured us moving to but when we went through the house for the first time, I could definitely envision us living there long-term. This house was a foreclosure so we were able to purchase it well under it's potential value, making it not only a great home for us but a decent investment opportunity. It is a 4300sf multi-level home sitting on about 1/2 acre. 4 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and an indoor gym ensure our family will have lots of room to grow. The backyard has a 20x40 inground swimming pool and plenty of fenced in grass where the girls can run and play. A 2-car garage, office and 10x10 stick-built shed give me plenty of space for my projects. Kelly will have a dedicated activities room in addition to plenty of space to entertain guests (her favorite activity of all). |
